The Windows player is **stable and available**. Its public download link is **coming soon**. [Contact Loopvew](/contact) to confirm compatibility and obtain the official installer. No third-party executable is an official Loopvew download.

## Before installation

Record the Windows edition and build, CPU architecture, graphics hardware, display outputs, and available storage. Confirm these with the support team; support for ARM or Windows IoT must not be inferred from another Windows installation.

Work with IT on account permissions, display sleep, update windows, and startup requirements. Keep security updates enabled under an appropriate maintenance policy.

## Download status

**Public download link: coming soon.** The support team supplies the official installer and current installation procedure. There is no public executable URL on this page yet.

## Install, pair, and publish

1. Confirm your PC configuration and install only the official build supplied by Loopvew.
2. Open the player in the intended Windows user session and connect it to the network.
3. Sign in to the [Loopvew CMS](https://app.loopvew.com/) and register the screen using the player's pairing code.
4. Publish a representative playlist. Test resolution, orientation, audio, and all connected outputs.
5. Restart Windows and verify that the device returns to the intended playback state without unplanned intervention.

## Prepare for unattended playback

Recovery from a power cut depends on firmware settings, login policy, player startup, and the display. A running application cannot guarantee that a powered-off PC will turn itself back on.

For several displays, verify output mapping and synchronization separately. Multiple content zones are not proof of frame-synchronized video-wall playback. Test actual media bitrates and codecs on the installed graphics drivers.

## If setup does not work

Check the Windows build, architecture, graphics driver, player version, user permissions, and network access. Describe whether the failure happens during installation, pairing, playback, or restart.
