The details

Architecture, rollout and day-to-day operation.

On-premise digital signage software is a self-hosted signage platform — the content management server runs on hardware you own, inside your own network, instead of in a vendor’s cloud. Screens pair with that local server, so publishing, scheduling, and playback keep working even with no internet connection at all.

Why enterprises go on-premise

Most teams are best served by cloud signage — but organizations with strict security policies, regulated data, or unreliable connectivity often can’t depend on an outside server. On-premise Loopvew moves the server inside your walls while keeping the same CMS, the same player apps, and the same publishing workflow.

You decide where data lives, when updates roll out, and how the system connects to the rest of your infrastructure — and you pay once, through a one-time license, instead of a recurring per-screen subscription.

What a deployment needs

An on-premise rollout comes down to four things: a server with enough storage and processing headroom for your media library, commercial displays suited to each space, a local network that reaches every screen, and the Loopvew CMS installed on your server. We help you size each one during planning, and your IT team keeps full ownership after go-live.

Cloud and on-premise, side by side

Both deployment models run the same Loopvew CMS and player apps — the difference is where the server lives and who operates it. Cloud is hosted and maintained by us with a per-screen subscription; on-premise runs on your hardware with a one-time license and no internet dependency. Many organizations mix the two: cloud for everyday sites, on-premise for secure facilities.

Where on-premise fits best

On-premise is the common choice wherever systems must stay in-house — government offices, banks, hospitals, factories, and corporate campuses. Player apps run on every major signage platform — Android, Windows, Linux, Samsung Tizen, and LG webOS — so existing hardware usually carries over.
