Multi-zone Layout

A multi-zone layout splits one screen into separate regions (zones) that each play their own content, such as a video in the main area, weather and a clock in the corner, and a news ticker along the bottom.

Multi-zone layout, explained

Zones let one screen do several jobs at once without cluttering any of them.

Tips

  • One main message. Give the largest zone to the content that matters most.
  • Live extras. Use smaller zones for widgets that update themselves: weather, time, news.
  • Don’t overdo it. Three or four zones is usually the limit before a screen feels busy.
In LoopvewLoopvew supports multi-zone layouts with video, images, tickers and widgets side by side.
