RSS Ticker

An RSS ticker is a scrolling line of text, usually along the bottom of a screen, that shows headlines pulled automatically from an RSS feed. It keeps signage current with news or updates without manual editing.

A ticker adds movement and fresh information to a screen without competing with the main content.

Tips

  • Pick a trusted feed. Whatever the feed publishes appears on your screens.
  • Keep speed readable. Fast tickers are hard to follow from a distance.
  • Use a zone. Give the ticker its own strip in a multi-zone layout so it never covers other content.
