Pairing Code

A pairing code is the short code a newly installed signage player shows on screen. Entering it in the CMS links that screen to your account, with no need to type passwords on the TV itself.

Pairing code, explained

Pairing codes make setup quick even on a remote-control-only TV: read the code off the screen, type it on your laptop, done.

Why it matters

  • No credentials on the device. Nobody types an account password on a public screen.
  • Keep codes private. Anyone with a valid code could try to link the screen to their own account, so don’t share photos of it.
  • One step per screen. Pairing is the only on-screen step; everything after happens in the CMS.
