Pixel Pitch
Pixel pitch is the distance, in millimetres, between the centres of two neighbouring pixels on an LED display. A smaller pitch packs pixels closer together, so the image stays sharp when viewers stand nearer the screen.

Pixel pitch matters most for LED walls, where the image is built from individual LED clusters rather than one continuous LCD panel.
Why it matters
A quick rule of thumb: the closest comfortable viewing distance in metres is roughly the pixel pitch in millimetres. A P2.5 wall looks smooth from about 2.5 metres; a P10 board is meant to be read from across a car park.

A smaller pitch costs more per square metre, so the right choice is the largest pitch that still looks sharp from where people actually stand.
