Before you start
- A Samsung commercial SSSP display — consumer Samsung TVs are not supported by the native player.
- The display's full model number, SSSP generation and firmware version.
- A network connection for the display.
- A Loopvew account.
Samsung commercial displays run Tizen with Samsung’s SSSP signage platform, and Loopvew runs natively on compatible models — no external media player needed. The Samsung Tizen player is stable and available; public installation links are coming soon, so installation follows an approved flow for your model.
Step 1 — Confirm the display
Find and record:
- The full model number (on the rear label or in the display’s information menu).
- The SSSP generation and firmware version.
- Available storage, intended orientation and network setup.
Send these to Loopvew through the contact page. The team confirms compatibility and supplies the correct installation flow. Consumer Samsung TVs are not supported natively — see how to turn any TV into digital signage for an external-player setup instead.
Step 2 — Install the player
Follow the installation procedure supplied for your approved model. Don’t use another vendor’s application URL or a consumer app-store guide as a substitute — the install flow for commercial displays is model-specific.
Step 3 — Pair the screen
Open the Loopvew player on the display. It shows a 6-digit pairing code. In the Loopvew CMS, open Screens, choose Register Screen, and enter a name, the code, the time zone and the location.
Step 4 — Publish and validate
Publish a short playlist containing the image and video formats you plan to use, then check:
- Orientation — landscape or portrait matches the mounting.
- Audio — on or off as intended.
- Scheduling — dayparts switch at the right local time.
- Restart — power the display off and on; content should return by itself.
- Network recovery — disconnect the network, confirm cached content keeps playing, reconnect and confirm updates resume.
Display controls such as power scheduling, brightness, screenshots and reboot should each be confirmed on your model before rollout.
Troubleshooting
If installation fails, contact support with the model, SSSP generation, firmware and player build, plus the exact step that failed. Don’t share passwords or active pairing codes.
