Amazon Fire TV

Set up Loopvew on an Amazon Fire TV device. Install the player from the Amazon Appstore, pair a screen, and validate unattended playback.

The Fire TV player is stable and available on the Amazon Appstore. Install it only from the Appstore listing; do not sideload another vendor’s APK.

Before installation

Record the Fire TV model and generation, Fire OS version, free storage, and output resolution. A product-family name such as “Fire TV Stick” is not enough, because generations differ in decoding and performance.

Use a stable network during registration and media synchronization. Power the device from its own adapter rather than the TV’s USB socket, which may not supply enough current.

Download status

Get it on the Amazon Appstore. On the Fire TV, search for “Loopvew” in Find or the Appstore, or open the listing from a browser signed in to the same Amazon account and send it to the device.

Install, pair, and publish

  1. Install the Loopvew player from the Amazon Appstore on the Fire TV.
  2. Open the player on the connected screen. Sign in to your Loopvew account on a separate computer.
  3. Use the pairing code shown by the player to register the screen in the CMS. Keep pairing codes private.
  4. Publish a short playlist containing the image and video formats you intend to use.
  5. Check orientation, audio, screensaver, and scheduling. Test startup after a full device restart.

Validate unattended operation

Fire TV is a consumer streaming device. Sleep, screensaver, and automatic system updates can interrupt playback, and the device may return to its home screen after an update. Test these behaviors with your exact model before leaving a screen unattended.

Test playback after disconnecting the network once media has synchronized. Live websites and streams still need connectivity. Reconnect and verify that content updates resume. Test power recovery separately from network recovery.

If setup does not work

Check the device clock, network access, free storage, and that the player is the Appstore version. For playback issues, record the media format, resolution, and bitrate. For restart issues, record the sleep and screensaver settings.

Contact support with these details and the player version. Do not send passwords or active pairing codes. Return to the Fire TV platform overview for device-selection guidance.
