Set up Loopvew on an LG commercial webOS display. Confirm model, firmware, native installation, and operational requirements.

Commercial displays only

The native player supports LG commercial webOS signage displays, not consumer LG TVs. Confirm the full commercial model, webOS version, firmware, storage, and screen orientation before planning an installation.

Public installation link: coming soon. Contact the team for the official installation source. Use the instructions supplied by Loopvew for the approved model; a consumer TV app-store link is not an equivalent installation path.

Prepare a pilot screen

1. Share the model, webOS version, firmware, desired layout, and required device controls with the team.
2. Follow the official installation procedure on the commercial display.
3. Register the player in your Loopvew account using the pairing code shown on the screen.
4. Publish a small playlist and verify codecs, orientation, audio, and scheduling.
5. Test restart, temporary network loss, and content synchronization after reconnection.

Validate native playback

The display’s processor, storage, web engine, and firmware affect media playback. Test websites and authenticated dashboards on the panel rather than assuming desktop-browser behavior.

Confirm screenshots, power control, brightness, and remote restart separately. Test locally downloaded files independently of live content. Check LG’s operating-hour, thermal, warranty, and mounting requirements for the planned use.

Troubleshooting and next steps

Provide the exact model, firmware, player build, and failure stage when contacting support. Remove credentials and pairing codes from screenshots or logs.
